Ayurvedic herbal medicines The Atharvaveda , a sacred text of Hinduism dating from the Early Iron Age , is one of the first Indian text dealing with medicine. The Atharvaveda also contain prescriptions of herbs for various ailments. The use of herbs to treat ailments would later form a large part of Ayurveda. Ayurveda, meaning the “complete knowledge for long life” is another medical system of India. Its two most famous texts belong to the schools of Charaka and Sushruta. The earliest foundations of Ayurveda were built on a synthesis of traditional herbal practices together with a massive addition of theoretical conceptualizations, new nosologies and new therapies dating from about BCE onwards, and coming out of the communities of thinkers who included the Buddha and others. Both these ancient compendia include details of the examination, diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis of numerous ailments. Most remarkable is Sushruta’s penchant for scientific classification:
Awareness of basic life support among medical, dental, nursing students and doctors
I realize some of the posts I read were several years old and that the info may have been right at the time, or those members may no longer be active. That said, I feel the need to clear some misconceptions. I will say that these issues are near and dear to me, but I am not a medical professional, simply a mother, a birth doula, and someone who does her research. I got pregnant despite contraception after around two years of methadone maintenance and recovery.
I spent a lot of time and discussion making the choices I made.

I think DNA research applications for genealogical research are directly related and equivalent to fingerprinting. More crimes have been solved with fingerprint evidence than for any other reason. The flexibility of friction ridge skin means that no two finger or palm prints are ever exactly alike in every detail; even two impressions recorded immediately after each other from the same hand may be slightly different.
Then, with the same degree of confidence of determining DNA “matches”, we should be able to directly trace back all our ancestry. Biometric [identification utilizing a physical attribute that is unique to every human] includes [iris recognition, the use of dental records in forensic dentistry, the tongue and DNA profiling, also known as genetic fingerprinting.
That, however, says to me, that over generations of time, every person, father, son, mother daughter, brother, sister, relative, each had a former DNA “engine” creator that produced another individual that in and of itself, starts off life with its own altered DNA “record” it must be so to produce individuality ; this then produces other altered DNA “records” in its posterity.
So, the issue is not with the continuous replication process which is so nicely discussed exactingly in family history DNA related venues, it is with the very fact that everyone who is a human being is individually genetically altered. And unless you can trace genealogy created patterns in fingerprints, iris recognition, or some other form of biometric identification, you certainly cannot with confidence, trace back with any degree of certainty, unique DNA profiling, which ever so minutely changes from one person to another, over all generations of time.
This is of course my own personal opinion on the matter, speaking as an expert genealogical research specialist , as fortified by my own experience of seeing enthusiastic DNA potential “matches” that are in professional research, directly contradicted by written record sources.

Fourteen organizations from across the state received grants for projects in line with the mission of the Red Ants Pants Foundation. Grant funding from the Red Ants Pants Foundation will help with the production of a video for elementary students about the production of beef in Montana. Blue Dog Provisions are made of only one ingredient — smoked Montana beef, lamb and pork offal that come straight from the butcher shop! Funds from the Community Grant will be used for logo and packaging design.
Funds will go towards the construction of a root washer so the farm can increase production of carrots, beets, celeriac and potatoes and grow their small business. Types of Abortion Surgical Home pregnancy tests available at a drug store can indicate pregnancy early after conception. Terminations performed in this very early time frame have sometimes been termed menstrual extractions. Abortions performed prior to nine weeks from the last menstrual period seven weeks from conception are performed either surgically a procedure or medically with drugs. From nine weeks until 14 weeks, an abortion is performed by a dilatation and suction curettage procedure.
After 14 weeks, surgical abortions are performed by a dilatation and evacuation procedure. After 20 weeks of gestation, abortions can be performed by labor induction, prostaglandin labor induction, saline infusion, hysterotomy, or dilatation and extraction. Most abortions are performed in an outpatient office setting doctor’s office, ambulatory clinic under local anesthesia with or without sedation.
Medical Medical abortion is a term applied to an abortion brought about by medication taken to induce it. This can be accomplished with a variety of medications given either as a single pill or a series of pills. Women who select a medical abortion express a slightly greater satisfaction with their route of abortion and, in the majority of cases, express a wish to choose this method again should they have another abortion. Research needs to be performed to more clearly establish which method is best, which medications are preferable, and how successfully women and adolescents can diagnose a complete versus an incomplete abortion.
Medical abortions can provide some measure of safety in that they eliminate the risk of injury to a woman’s cervix or uterus from surgical instruments.
